In the De la Fontaine Verwey Reading Room, the reading room of the Special Collections, the manuscripts, letters, early printed books and special editions can be consulted.
The Map Room, the Bibliotheca Rosenthaliana, the Book Trade Room and the Mennonite Room also have reading rooms for specialized research. Each room has a reference library containing relevant reference works, bibliographies and card indexes.
