Search4Dev is an online library for digital publications by Dutch organizations in the field of development cooperation.
Search4Dev is an initiative of the Development Policy Review Network (DPRN), a network of development experts and policymakers. Its aim is to reduce the gap between development policy and practice. The initiative was made possible by the Ministry for Foreign affairs through WOTRO Science for Development. The online library was implemented by the Royal Tropical Institute (KIT) in collaboration with the Digital Production Centre of the Library of the University of Amsterdam.
Via Search4Dev many publications by Dutch development organizations on various subjects are easily accessible. Search4Dev gives not only the citation of publications but always refers to the full-text, as well. By using international standards for data exchange, the publications are available both to end users and to search engines and other information intermediaries. Information from Search4Dev can thus simply be included in other online information services.
