The UvA Library has a new search engine. It can find both print and e-books, and articles from e-journals. It also searches UvA-DARE.

The new system is much faster, more user-friendly, and for many disciplines gives more search hits. After a search the results can easily be limited, for example by type of material, location, subject, author or publication date.

The current "Digital Library" will be running until the end of this semester but will not be offered on the website. Personal selections of databases and e-journals in "My Library" will disappear in August 2012, as well as alert profiles.
