Borrowing
A valid UBA library card is required to borrow and reserve books.
You can not borrow: journals, reference works, course books, etc. The Medical Library provides free UBA library cards to:
staff of the AMC, including to interns, PhD students, trainees.
On presentation of your AMC badge or a letter of appointment, with valid identification, a library card can be obtained at the desk.
Medical students, MIK and HBO-V AMC students can get a library card on presentation of a studentcard and a valid ID.
Please notify us of a change of address as soon as possible. Late fines:
1st recall: free
2nd recall: € 2,50
3rd recall: € 4,50 Photocopying
There are four photocopying machines, two on the upper floor and two on the ground floor.
AMC staff have their own copycards.
Students and visitors can obtain a card from the machine in the cloakroom (ca. € 2,25 for the card + ca. € 0,05 per copy). This card can be upgraded in the Medical Libary only.
Both kinds of copycards can also be used in the UBA Book Depot.
