Rules

• On weekdays, the University Library is open from Monday till Friday from 8.30 hrs till 18.00 hrs for everyone with a valid library card; students of the Universiteit van Amsterdam can use their registration card as library card.
• In the evening and weekend the University Library is only open for students and staff members of the UvA and HvA. If you are not a student or staff member you are allowed to check out your books at the self service by showing a valid library card.
• If requested by library or security staff, visitors must show their university card, library card or valid ID.
