Mathematica for students

From now on students can obtain Mathematica through the Student site. There you can also read how to get or renew a licence.

Zoological Library Mauritskade

Starting from 1 June 2009 the library desk of the Zoological Library Mauritskade is only manned on Thursdays from 9.00 till 17.00 hour. The reading rooms are opened on Monday till Wednesday and on Friday from 9.00 till 17.00 hour. Before using it you must announce yourself at the doorkeeper of Mauritskade 57.

Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS)

The Book Series Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) is from now full-text available in digital form, including the backvolumes since 1973. In total it involves more than 5.580 ebooks.

Pictures Library in New Building

In the learning center of the Science Library are numerous computers available for students of the Science faculty and outside and the UvA. The learning center is opened till 22.00 hours and till 18.00 hours on saturday.
The first pictures are online.

Currently, 2 users can search the software or client version (SciFinder Scholar) at one time and 4 users can search the web version at one time.
