Collection of the Réveil Archive Foundation

The Réveil Archive Foundation, established in 1930, collects material in manuscript and book form by and on the nineteenth-century Réveil movement. This material, since 1931 on loan in the Amsterdam University Library (UvA), is still being added to. The core of the extensive collection is formed by archival material (letters, diaries, manuscripts, portraits, etc.) of a large number of persons who were active in the Réveil movement, such as Isaäc da Costa, H.J. Koenen and Willem de Clercq.
